Buffer Tank

The FENNEX Storaqua Buffer Tank is a water-filled reservoir designed to increase efficiency in renewable energy systems and integrate multiple heat sources into a single system. It is also a recommended component for heat pump installations.

This tank stores water heated by the heat pump and supplies it to the system as needed, serving as an energy storage solution. It also extends the lifespan and improves the efficiency of heat pumps by preventing them from constantly cycling on and off. The FENNEX Storaqua Buffer Tank offers flexible usage options and enables the heat pump to be supported by various heat sources. It is also important for heat pumps to meet their minimum water flow rate requirements. Buffer tanks are unglazed storage tanks. A coil can be installed inside these products upon request.

• A double coat of anti-corrosion paint is applied to prevent corrosion and provide protection.
• Soft polyurethane with a density of 18 kg/m³ and a thickness of 20–50 mm is used to ensure high insulation. (Glass wool is available as an option.) It is tested to a pressure of 13 bar to ensure leak-tightness.
• The operating pressure is set at 8 bar.
• It is designed in accordance with European standards.
• It falls under energy class C.
